Come in when the hair is about 1cm. Short stubbles are not long enough for the wax to adhere. If you are getting the body wax for a particular reason, plan ahead and allow enough time to let your hair grow out so the hair will be long enough to be waxed right before the occasion.
Take a shower before coming in and thoroughly exfoliate the area you plan on getting waxed to get rid of the dead skin so the wax can best adhere to the hair. Do not apply moisturizer or cream after.
People who are on any retinoids (retin-a/retinol), tretinol, and accutane (at least 6 months off of this medication) should NOT be waxing. The skin is too thin and sensitive for this service.
